Never stop dreaming..

IMG_20150930_220035-1 So October is finally here!! Probably my most busy, crazy, month that I will have this year. But now the day has come where I can reveal my BIG announcement…..

ready….

Before I tell you all, I just want you all to remember to BELIEVE in yourselves. I can’t tell you how important that is when you are trying to be successful. You have that PR in mind, that finish time you want, that particular race you want..but if you don’t believe you will make it, you won’t. Your mind is very strong persuasive source. If your mind believes you can’t then your body will think you can’t. Fill your head with positive “I can do it” thoughts!

500-13000

OK, now here is my big secret I’ve been keeping from you all….but first, know that when you have a dream, a dream so strong that you can’t go a day without thinking about it, never give up chasing it. Turn ALL your dreams into reality! You must keep going, keep fighting until that dream is a reality. The person with big dreams is a powerful person. So much determination and dedication to turn that dream into real life. You must NEVER, EVER, give up on dream, no matter how long it takes.

OK, OK, fine…I’ll tell you the big announcement….

ready…

Just one more thing…remember that chasing a dream, a goal, an accomplishment, it takes GREAT strength. It takes a lot of hours, days, even years at times. You must never lose hope and must keep chasing it. It takes getting up before the sun does, it takes getting out there in the rain, snow, heat. It takes many bad runs, injuries, and set backs. But while you think all these negative things are just pushing you backwards, they are in fact pushing you forward. These hard days where you don’t think they matter, are the days where you are becoming stronger. Why? Because it ignites a fire within you to try and try again until you get the results you want. If you work real hard to make something happen, it will…and I am proof.

I work REAL hard. It has taken tears, sweat, and pain. I have been fighting my butt off to turn my dreams into reality. I have gone through every obstacle possible, and yet I still have the strength and courage to try again. There are days where I spent an entire day out there training. I am the first to arrive and the last to leave. I am a fighter, a dream chaser, a runner and I will NEVER GIVE UP. No matter how long it takes, I will continue to keep going and keep pushing. Because my dreams are too big to ignore.

I am here with open arms to help anyone that is struggling with obstacles. I will gladly help you all reach the top because helping someone succeed at reaching their dreams, is a great feeling of joy. You all share with me all your accomplishments every week and it makes me so happy to know that you all are fighters, determined and will stop at nothing to reach your goals. You all inspire me in your own ways. Remember, believe in yourself, never give up, and work hard.

Getting into the New York City Marathon this year has been an incredible feeling. I’ve been working hard and overcoming obstacles, left and right. Not only do I get 1 dream come true, but I got another. I have always been an ASICS runner. It’s an INCREDIBLE shoe and it’s a brand that sticks by their athletes and supports and helps everyone. Being invited to join teamASICS for the marathon has made my dreams so much sweeter. But my dreams have gotten bigger, and so has my road to reach it.

I am PROUD to say that I am officially 1 of the new teamASICS AMBASSADORS!

  1. That is awesome! I, too, have run in Asics since I started running, and I will see you on the streets of NY. Couldn’t be more excited to be running my 22nd marathon there! I’m running on a charity team for the first time, and have nearly $1,000 more to raise in the next month before the race. I’m running for the James Blake Foundation which is fighting cancer through gene mutation research at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NY. Check out my blog if you’d like to donate. Every $$ helps in the fight! See you in a month!

  2. You and I share this dream of NY and I can’t wait to share the day with you soon! 🙂 Major congrats on being chosen as an Asics Ambassador. I know how much you love the shoe and brand.

  3. I am so excited for you to experience the NYC marathon on team ASICS. It is such an incredible experience. I am even more excited for this ambassadorship! So happy to be on this journey with you.

  4. I am so excited for you to experience running NYCM with team ASICS. It is such a wonderful opportunity. I am even more excited to be on the Ambassador journey with you. It’s going to be epic!
